Dr. Richard C. Lanza

AFO Research Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Richard C. Lanza to our Board of Advisors.  Dr. Lanza is a world renowned Senior Research Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering.  His vast knowledge and expertise cover all the markets in which AFO’s fluorophosphate glass line can make a difference in such as: high energy physics, nuclear safety, nuclear medicine/imaging, neutron detection, and sensing and scanning systems for national security.  AFO is honored to have Dr. Lanza on our team.

Introducing Our "Ce" Doped Glass Line

AFO is proud to introduce the arrival of our newest Cerium "Ce" doped Fluorophosphate Glass line. This line is radiation resistant, and it has exceptional optical qualities. It scintillates extremely well, yielding a bright blue fluorescence.
